Project AWARE Shark Conservation Certificate - Sharks in Drastic Decline
Date: 13th June
Time: 2pm EDT / 7pm BST (UTC+1)
Duration: 2 - 2.5 hrs
Girls That Scuba have teamed up with Shark Conservation Instructor Laura Tyrrell to discuss our favourite marine species and its shocking 90% decline over the past 4 decades. An AWARE Shark Conservation Program Participation Certificate that counts towards your Shark Conservation Specialty Certification - you need to complete 2 dives before your speciality is complete
No discounts apply including Girls that Scuba membership discount
The workshop will be recorded so if you cannot attend you can still buy the workshop and we will send you the recording and Toni will email you for any questions you have.
Please note you will not complete your speciality until you have completed two dives - which you can do with any Project Aware Shark Conservation instructor (it is a popular course that most instructors and large dive centres do). This course will give you the certificate and the theory part completed and then it is down to you to complete your dives in your own time.
These workshops help instructors who have lost income due to COVID-19 as well as keeping the Girls that Scuba platforms running. Your support is hugely appreciated.
